NOAA is forecasting a G1-class geomagnetic storm on Thursday, March. 5, through Friday, March 6, with the aurora borealis possible from northern U.S. states and Canada.

The northern lights could illuminate skies across the northern U.S. tonight (Jan. 8-9) according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC).

NOAA is forecasting elevated solar wind conditions on Tuesday, Feb. 24, through Wednesday, Feb 25, with the aurora borealis possible in northern U.S. states and Canada.
