In a seemingly non-severe thunderstorm situation today, we actually had tornadoes develop. However, these weren’t the tornadoes we normally have in Michigan. These tornadoes were likely technically called landspouts.
High winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Some minor damage is possible, the weather service said.
Storms will develop ahead of a cold front on Wednesday afternoon. Will they develop early enough to impact the Twin Cities and eastern Minnesota, or mostly impact Wisconsin and Iowa?
