Only people like Robin and Don Rickles could get him to crack up like this on set, from what I’ve heard. “Awakenings” is a special film, which I wholeheartedly recommend you see. It’s based on a true story, almost too stunning to be true. Robin plays Dr Malcolm Sayer, while De Niro plays one of his patients. I won’t reveal much, in case you haven’t seen it.
