If you want to properly harness train a macaw, you have to get them out and about. It's the only way to do it and it is the responsibility of the breeder to properly prepare a macaw if they are going to market them to the pet trade. All our babies are harness trained and use to being taken out.. We always work our babies on the forearm/hand and we encourage our birdy families to continue this. I find that consistency pays off with the benefits coming to fruition from 2 years onwards.
